Abstinence Education

The Sexual Risk Avoidance Abstinence Education and Youth Development Initiative is a grant awarded to our local collaborative through the Department of Family and Children Services office of Prevention Family Support through DHS.  The purpose of this program is to provide abstinence education and youth development activities to middle and high school students in Bleckley County. This is an optional enrichment program and requires parental permission to participate. We have received this grant in 2011 and have been implementing this program since that time.
